Common questions

Why can't I sign up for a game in advance?

Signups open on the day of the game. Pickup attendance changes with the weather and how everyone's week is going, so same-day signups keep the headcount honest.

What's the difference between following and signing up?

Following a game is a standing interest — it costs you nothing and gets you reminders before each game. Signing up is a commitment to play on a specific day, and it's what counts toward the minimum needed for the game to happen.

I'm not getting notifications

Check that notifications are enabled for DiscUp in your device settings, and that you're following the game. Reminders only go to followers who haven't already signed up.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all of your data, including any games you created. It cannot be undone.

I'm an organizer — how do I change my game?

Open the game and tap Edit. You can change the schedule, location, player limits, and reminder timing. Changing the schedule regenerates upcoming dates, but today's game and anyone already signed up for it are left alone.
